Paddy joined The Garibaldi School as Head Teacher in September 2024, relocating to his home county of Nottinghamshire.

Paddy has 15 years of experience of school senior leadership, most recently the headship of a large secondary academy in central London. Prior to that, he had a number of senior positions in Hackney and Croydon where he worked on improving the quality of teaching, raising standards and curriculum development. He also worked as part of the Education Team at a national Multi-Academy Trust he had the opportunity to work alongside colleagues in over 40 different schools to develop their approaches to assessment and standards.

He has a particular interest in the effective use of assessment and data to drive improvements in standards alongside a focus on the importance of developing highly effective school cultures to raise student aspirations.
